This Freda duffle coat by Gloverall has been crafted from an Italian made, boiled wool fabric, and made in England. The details include: a classic design based on a ‘70s style from the Gloverall archive with a hooded neckline, a jute and wooden front fastening, twin patch pockets to the lower body, long sleeve styling, cape style detail to the shoulders and an unlined interior with overlocked seams. The coat has been cut with a slim fit.

Icons of British excellence, Gloverall was founded by Harold and Freda Morris in 1951, when they were approached to sell on surplus World War II duffle coats by Ministry of Defence. Specialists in gloves and overalls, the Morrises combined these words to create the brand name Gloverall. S/S'12 sees a vibrant color palette of orange, yellow and red applied across a collection of lightweight, washed cotton and waxed parkas and stripe jersey duffle jackets.
