I’m Delphine

News Writer

Jessica Chastain hugged me

I’m Danielle

Senior Fashion & News Editor

My specialist subject on Mastermind would be supermodels

Delphine Chui

News Writer

WHAT YOU DO: I’m one of the early starters (yup, that means a 6am wake-up call), trawling any overnight news for breaking stories while keeping an eye on everything from talking-point films to celebrity birthdays.

FIRST JOB: Assisting the online team at GQ. I was the only girl on the team but that was no excuse not to be up to speed on everything from menswear to Formula 1. Exposing myself as a closet gamer totally earned me brownie points.

FUN FACT: Once hugged by Jessica Chastain, put lipstick on with Michelle Williams and asked by Amber Heard where I got my £5 (p)leather skirt from.

Danielle Radojcin

Senior Fashion & News Editor

WHAT YOU DO: I stay one step ahead of what ASOS girls want to wear and keep them informed about fashion trends. Not as easy as it sounds – you girls are super switched-on.

FIRST JOB: Editorial assistant at Vogue, where I learned how to make a mean cup of tea. Just kidding, I loved it all.

FASHION TRIVIA: My favourite colour is leopard print and my specialist subject on Mastermind would definitely be supermodels.

I’m Alex

I know more about Kate Middleton than is healthy

Alex Butt

Fashion & News Editor

WHAT YOU DO: A bit of writing, some editing, lots of pitching ideas.

FIRST JOB: A very small Co-op in the West Country where I worked exclusively with white-haired women called Betty and Beryl. I loved it.

FUN FACT: I was a royal reporter in a former life and, as a result, I know more about Kate Middleton than is strictly healthy.

I’m Emma

Deputy Editor

I own an ex-police horse called Oliver

Emma Sibbles

Deputy Editor

WHAT YOU DO: I run the magazine, manage the team and edit stories, finding brilliant, inspirational ASOS girls to feature.

FIRST JOB: Assistant at Marie Claire. I did everything from fixing the photocopier to finding weird and wonderful case studies for features, all while answering two phones that rang constantly.

FUN FACT: I own an ex-police horse called Oliver. I’ve ridden since I was seven – it’s the best way to relax and exercise. Relaxercise if you will...

I’m Lucinda

Production Editor

I always wear flats, never ever heels

Lucinda Greasley

Production Editor

WHAT YOU DO: I manage the news teams here in London and around the world to ensure everything runs super smoothly. It’s all about deadlines!

FIRST JOB: Working at Vogue, I was so keen to impress on my first day that I spent an afternoon at Kall Kwik to be sure I knew how to use the photocopier.

FASHION TRIVIA: I always wear flats, never ever heels because I’m always running around, regularly seen darting to the printer and skipping to meetings.

Lipton Ice Tea is the elixir of the gods

Cem Hizli

Digital Video Editor

WHAT YOU DO: Eat video, sleep video, drink… Lipton Ice Tea.

FIRST JOB: As a child I ran a shooting range during my holidays to Turkey. I used Lipton Ice Tea cans as targets and made a lot of money – mostly to spend on more ice tea. True story!

FUN FACT: Lipton Ice Tea is the elixir of the gods.

I’m Melissa

Editorial Director

I’ve been known to wear onesies

Melissa Dick

Editorial Director

WHAT YOU DO: I direct the editorial content across all of ASOS’ women’s and men’s channels, from the website and magazine to social. It’s the best gig in fashion.

FIRST JOB: Fashion assistant at The Clothes Show. It was my dream come true as I love telly and clothes, and ex i-D editor Caryn Franklin was my idol. Back then there was no email (seriously) and my first task was calling in press samples over the phone. No one understood my northern accent and all the samples were wrong.

FASHION TRIVIA: I wore onesies the first time around – to raves in 1989. It’s still my proudest fashion moment

If it makes you happy, wear it!

Jemma Tibbals

Senior Fashion & News Writer

WHAT YOU DO: Write all about what’s rocking the fashion world. I have the handy excuse ‘It’s my job, I have to try the goods!’ when asked why I’m coming home with another ASOS order.

FIRST JOB: Assisting a visual effects make-up artist. I was in charge of the red food dye for the faux blood.

FASHION TRIVIA: I’m a firm believer in ‘if it makes you happy, wear it!’

I own far too many shift dresses

Nicky Westbury

Chief Sub-Editor

WHAT YOU DO: I edit copy on the website and magazine, and publish the daily news stories. Yes, a spelling/grammar/scheduling obsessive...

FIRST JOB: Editing puzzle magazines. Still can’t do cryptic crosswords though.

FUN FACT: I’m mama to a cheeky toddler, an Arsenal fan with a James Murphy crush and a repetitive shopper (I now own far too many shift dresses, sweatshirts and Nikes).

I’m Fran

Obsessed with Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights

Francesca Babb

Executive Editor

WHAT YOU DO: Equal parts interviewing celebs/ lurking around on the internet, trying to discover new celebs to interview.

FIRST JOB: Writer on All About Soap magazine. As in soap operas. Not bath salts.

FUN FACT: Pretty much obsessed with Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights. Also quite partial to a bit of Nashville. Worry I have some weird Texas/Tennessee fetish.

FIRST JOB: I was the host’s sidekick on a radio morning show and presented the celebrity news. Coffee addiction was necessary.

FASHION TRIVIA: Sweat pants are sartorially underrated. And remember: if Britney can make it through 2007, you can make it through this season.

Back to team

WHAT YOU DO: I write about everything from crop tops to Rihanna’s mullet and everything in between.

FIRST JOB: Camp counsellor. I taught kids how to make macaroni jewellery, one of my greatest passions.

WHAT YOU DO: I picture edit the daily news, finding the best style and celeb images for ASOS. I also present a lot of pictures of random animals, just for my own amusement.

FIRST JOB: My first real job was at Channel 4 as picture assistant, my real first job was washing pots in a tea room.

I went on The Weakest Link and won

Zoë Folbigg

Chief Sub-Editor

WHAT YOU DO: I edit and publish news stories the brilliant team write, often while trying not to laugh sweet ‘n’ salty popcorn over my shiny Mac.

FIRST JOB: Sub-Editor at Cosmopolitan. I turned up wearing a fuchsia power suit, not realising almost everyone apart from the editor was wearing jeans and Converse. Felt pretty silly.

FUN FACT: I went on The Weakest Link and won.
