STYLE. GROOMING. INSPIRATION. ADVICE.
If you can stop yourself being distracted by actor Demetrius Shipp Jr.’s uncanny facial resemblance to Pac for a second, new Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me (released June 16) promises a visual feast in the form of some carefully curated '90s steez. The Tate Modern’s latest blockbuster mash-up of art, culture and politics —Soul Of A Nation (opens July 12 in London) — collects more than 150 works of African-American art in the '60s and '70s, from Emory Douglas's righteously angry Black Panther propaganda to Barkley Hendricks' more slyly subversive portraits (including this excellent self-portrait, featuring an ace Superman T-shirt and not much else).
