3 WAYS TO WEAR HEAD-TO-TOE PINK

By Maybelle Morgan, June 5, 2018

Millennial pink, Wes Anderson blush, '80s magenta. Is there ever a time that pink isn’t right for our wardrobes, especially in the lead-up to summer? And now, for SS18, according to Fendi, Molly Goddard, Gucci and more, we’re still swooning hard for anything blush-colored. Check out three ways to style it here…

Baby, baby

For the most '90s take on the trend, the color palette is all about the softest of baby pinks. But to avoid going too granny chic, mix it up with other summer shades and prints. A tulle cami with appliqué florals is dreamy matched with this summer’s white jeans. Diamanté-buckle heels in cotton candy pink, plus literal rose-tinted glasses are welcome additions to the sugary ensemble. A grab-handle clutch in tortoiseshell print finishes the look by breaking up the lightness with some retro flair.

Future feels

Proof that pink doesn’t have to be overly twee — this futuristic ensemble with layering and texture for miles. A metallic pink mini skirt gets the spotlight, matched with a skate-style long-sleeve top, with an ice-blush button-up layered over the top. But it’s the accessories that really speak space-age volumes: chunky sneaks, a constellation-speckled fanny pack slung across the body, plus some slammin’ visor-style pink shades.

Silky smooth

And now, ladies and gentlemen, the ultimate fancy showstopper: this silky midi dress. The asymmetric wide sleeve, split skirt and drape detailing add undisputed '80s drama to the look, but it's the cherry-blossom print and bubblegum shade that amp up the Rihanna nightie feel. To finish? Clash-worthy pointed mules and gold accents.
