If you follow model Dree and her LA-based artist sister Langley Fox on Instagram then you'll know that style is synonymous with the name Hemingway. Back in the '70s, however, it was their aunt Margaux Hemingway whose tomboyish take on glamour was lighting up NYC. Granddaughter of writer Ernest Hemingway, Margaux was a Vogue and Time cover star, plus the first model to bag a $1 million beauty deal when she became the face of Fabergé's perfume Babe (so appropriate). Sadly, behind all the glitz, Margaux had a troubled life and died from an overdose in 1996.
Here are our favourite throwback pictures of Margaux. With next season's major crush on '70s fashion, expect to see this face all over Pinterest.
