Answer: Stella McCartney. Stella, who showed her Spring '15 collection in Paris today (a riot of voluminous pajama-style duds worn by Brit models Cara Delevingne and Malaika Firth on the catwalk), was also the designer of choice for human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, in the second part of her wedding to George Clooney in Venice earlier today.

Stella is a bridalwear pro: she designed Madonna's wedding dress for her marriage to Guy Ritchie in 2000 and created a bespoke gown for Nancy Shevell when she married Stella's dad Paul in 2011. For the new Ms. Clooney (or should that be Mrs. Alamuddin-Clooney), Stella designed matching cream co-ords to wear to the civil ceremony earlier today (FYI, she wore a bespoke Oscar de la Renta gown for the main wedding on Saturday night).

Was the Clooney wedding the most major celeb wedding ever? We do the math.
