Dame Angelina Jolie, that's who folks. Yes, that's correct, the Oscar-winning actress has been awarded the Insignia of an Honorary Damehood by HRH The Queen at Buckingham Palace for her campaigning work fighting sexual violence in war zones and for services to UK foreign policy. Go Gurl. The dame-hood was first announced back in June when the actress/superwoman was co-chairing the End Sexual Violence in Conflict global summit with then-foreign secretary William Hague. Just to add to how impressive the honor is, Angelina is the first American woman (ever) to be made a dame.

The only downside? According to Buckingham Palace, as a non-British citizen she may not be offish addressed as "Dame." Ugh, we're totally gonna do it anyway.
