Last night was the world premiere of Effie Gray (the new period drama starring Dakota Fanning and Emma Thompson, who also wrote the screenplay) at London's Curzon Mayfair Cinema. Sienna Miller supported fiancé Tom Sturridge, who's also in the film, on the red carpet in a marble-effect, A-line dream of a dress, but it was Dakota who really werked the red rug in a suede gown (yes, you heard us right).

Dakota's red suede, fringed, spaghetti strap dress was totally bringing back memories of Chanel's major Paris-Dallas resort collection (cowgirls 4 dayz) and proves that fashion's '70s luvin' ain't just happening on the catwalk (see Gucci Spring '15), it's here in IRL. Stetsons at the ready…
