STYLE. GROOMING. INSPIRATION. ADVICE.
An all-time favorite cold-weather color, it’s always a shout to opt for winter-ready pieces in navy. Start off with a classic Breton-striped sweatshirt, and layer a velvet shirt over the top in a dark-blue hue to highlight the pattern of your base layer.
It’ll probably be fairly chilly while you're out and about this December (unless you're lucky enough to be heading somewhere hot for a sneaky end-of-year getaway), so you'll need a jacket that'll keep you warm without weighing you down. Go for a shacket with a padded lining in a neutral shade that will contrast your navy-led top half but still seamlessly slot into the minimal vibe of your get-up.
On your bottom half, choose a pair of Carhartt club pants in the fabric of the season: corduroy. Make sure that they’re the same color as your shirt but in a slightly darker shade to add a bit of tonal variation to your ’fit. Round off your Scandi skate-inspired look with some ramp-ready accessories — a graphic-print beanie and a pair of chunky-soled Converse '70s Hi plimsolls should have you set for some serious pavement pounding.
