TOP 5 FALL TRENDS FROM COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK

For FW18 the pantsuit is oversized and cooler than ever. It'll be the hardest-working thing you'll buy this season — those pants would be perfect belted over a logo tee, and the blazer is made for slinging over a midaxi dress with dad sneakers and a fanny pack. Best paired with a sleek bun and an undercurrent of sass.
Long and short of it
Not a trend we saw coming, admittedly, but long denim shorts are this year's transeasonal master stroke. Worn just above the knee, with a blazer or check shirt, they're the middle ground between trying to keep the spirit of summer alive (understandable) and wanting warm legs without giving in to jeans yet. Also, they're easy to do at home — just grab a pair of scissors and a steady hand.
The main rule when it comes to prints this season? There are no rules. Anything goes, from floral pajama blouses mixed with leopard-print skirts, to patterned shirts (shout out to Prada for the most extra design of the season) with geometric midis. Just throw it all on — then throw on some more for good measure.
Done in one
Who doesn't love a jumpsuit? A full outfit in only one piece of clothing? Sign us up. For FW18, go for a loose, belted version with cropped legs and look out for earthy, rust shades or classic black or navy. Scandi favorite Monki has a brilliant selection. Just dress it up with cat-eye shades and gold jewelry and you're good to go.
It's not just prints we're mixing up this season. Take a tip from the Balenciaga campaign (or Joey in Friends) and layer an oversized sporty zip-up over your summer wardrobe. The mix of animal print with '90s-style color-blocking make this high-low dressing at its very finest. Now excuse us while we go and try it out...
