Milan Fashion Week brought its usual flair this season, with the biggest names in the industry showing their wares for FW19 — including Gucci, Prada and, of course, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld's amazing final collection for the brand. In addition, the Italian city served up some serious street-style as per usual. So, if you're in need of a bit of inspo this hump day, we’ve got six different looks to cop now.

6 LOOKS FROM MILAN FASHION WEEK FW19
February 27, 2019
Bring on the acids
ICYMI, denim is definitely not going anywhere for a while. In fact, the newness keeps coming. This season, Milan’s most fashionable people (this street-styler included) were seen rocking acid-washed styles. We know what you’re thinking: a season of acid washes and neon? Yes, the '80s might finally be back.
One of the biggest trends of 2019, the milkmaid aesthetic is starting to creep up on the streets. For Milan that meant styling square necklines and fem details in the chicest ways. Blogger Linda Tol went for a purple shade and paired it with blue denim, an embellished bag and cat-eye sunnies. And a nonchalant strut, naturally.
If you like to carry your whole life with you everywhere ('cause you never know!), you're in luck, because the tote is back in an XXL version. This street-styler's huge velvet version can hold everything but the kitchen sink, while still being an on-point accessory choice. Get you a bag that can do everything.
Out in the wild
One of our favorite trends for the season, animal print, made the streets of Milan look like a tropical jungle. In a move on from leopard spots, zebra stripes took center stage in the form of everyone’s favorite midi skirt. Is this minimalist styling and patent jacket contrast the ultimate day-to-night inspo? We think so.
This is accessorizing 2.0. Hair clips are quite literally taking over every inch of our head (and our social media feeds) and, TBH, the more the merrier. We’ve been seeing this trend on the runways, the red carpet and a tonne of street shots. This one gets extra points for saving a bad hair day (and making a good hair day even better.)
The camo print
Adding a bit of edge to the mix, the animal prints shared the spotlight with classic camo during MFW in new, not-so-classic takes. We’re loving everything about this look — from the bold trench to the patent hat (including the fact it's rain-ready).
